<p style="text-align: left;">Andy Quinn has spent the last 23 years focused on technology transactions in the computing, consumer electronics and telecommunications industries. He started his legal career working for a large regional law firm in Baltimore, Maryland, Miles &amp; Stockbridge. After 2 years in a law firm environment he decided to move in-house.</p>
<p>Over his career, he has had the privilege of working for companies like Sony Electronics, Gateway, MCI and General Instrument Corporation. For the last 5 years he has been serving as the lead counsel for Qualcomm&#8217;s display business. In this context he is supporting extensive research and development activities around the world, the construction and tooling of two large area glass fabrication plants in Taiwan, and the introduction of a new ultra low power flat panel display technology into the market.</p>
<p>He manages a team of 4 lawyers and 5 contract administrators and a legal assistant with offices in San Diego, San Jose and Longtan, Taiwan.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">JT Taylor Bio: </span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">JT Taylor is a corporate transactional attorney with experience leading and managing domestic and international attorneys, contracting professionals, and support personnel in the software, hardware, entertainment, manufacturing, and consumer electronics fields.</p>
<p>Prior to becoming an attorney JT served for several years as a U.S. Naval Officer leading high-performing operational teams in aviation, shipboard, and public affairs roles. He has previously been named a San Diego Daily Transcript &#8220;Top Attorney&#8221; for Intellectual Property Transactions.</p>
<p>Over his legal career, JT has had the privilege of working for companies like The Walt Disney Company, Sony Electronics, and Gateway. He has also served as Attorney Advisor to the Federal Communications Commission.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">The Transactional LawMeet<sup>SM</sup> is the premier &#8220;moot court&#8221; experience for students interested in a transactional practice. The Transactional LawMeet<sup>SM</sup> forms a part of the LawMeet<sup>SM</sup>family of live, interactive, educational competitions designed to give law students a hands-on experience in developing and honing transactional lawyering skills.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">The USD Business Law Society continues to expand it&#8217;s exposure to the area of transactional law by entering a team in this year&#8217;s Transactional LawMeet<sup>SM</sup> Competition.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">The USD Business Law Society and Professor Frank Partnoy have selected students <em>Matthew Pontes (2L)</em> and <em>Justin Brandt (2L)</em> to represent the law school in this year&#8217;s competition.</p>
